Baby seems to have figured out how to stretch vertically and push on both my stomach and bladder at the same time! Such a smart Baby!

I realized today, when I picked up a belt that had fallen on the floor, that I haven't worn a belt in 3 months! And I now officially have to strain my neck forward to see my toes when standing. SMILE.

Grandad's Robe and Cross

Today is Grandad Emery's Birthday: Great-Grandad to Baby! I am honored to have inherited his clergy robes and to share his call.

25 weeks

Baby and I are officially 5 months pregnant. The Belly is progressing and Mama and Daddy are doing our pregnancy exercises. Husband-Coached Childbirth, here we come! Baby is supposed to have a growth spurt this month- doubling her/his weight! Already Baby is over a foot "tall" and over a pound and a half! Mama's elastic pants are getting a workout. And that may explain the tiredness that seems to be returning... but Baby isn't tired! 10 PM, 3 AM and 5 AM are Baby's favorite times to say Hi.

31st Birthday Celebration.

Steve took Baby and me out to a yummy dinner at a Denver restaurant that supports local farms: Duo. Check it out! And thanks to my WHOLE family I got an iTouch for my Birthday!!! I'm so excited!! Baby's jumping up and down too.

... Oh, and Baby thought s/he needed a better "profile" picture, even though the last one makes Mama look pretty good! Perspective makes ALL the difference!

24 Weeks

This was a big week! Baby is constantly flipping and kicking now, we started our Bradley (birthing) class and I went to my first La Leche League meeting! Big things ar happening... just not my belly. I felt huge last week, now I feel small. Especially after going to my first La Leche League meeting and seeing women only a few weeks from delivery- they are HUGE compared to me! One is also about to birth her 5th child... so since we don't plan to have that many, maybe I'll never get that big.

This morning when I woke up, Baby was having a heyday! So I just started at my belly for a while and watched it shift and move and bounce! Watch out world, here comes an active one. Hopefully with Daddy's athletic ability rather than mine. =)

POP

It's amazing to me that some people still don't realize I'm pregnant. But even this big belly hides pretty well under a fleece jacket still. I bought The Belly Book yesterday, along with the new baby book we got last weekend, it is time to start recording memories for Baby. If you have any suggestions on memories/thoughts you would find particularly meaningful for your parents to have recorded, we'd love suggestions.
